Cakes by Allie was founded in 2010 by cake enthusiast, Allie. She began cake making only a few years ago and decided it was something she wanted to do the rest of her life. Cake classes were not her thing, so Allie is completely self taught.
In 2011 she began working for Creations by Cardinali located in Carle Place, NY where she was being mentored by an amazing man named Vic Barbetta who she knew basically her whole life. Victor had missing fingers, giant hands and could see nothing if he didn't have his glasses on, but he was an amazing cake artist and Allie loved working with him. On November 13th 2011 sadly Victor passed away. He may be gone, but the things Allie learned from him will never be forgotten.
Allie's currently still working at Creations by Cardinali. She hopes one day to make it to the big leagues and win Cake Challenge on the Food Network! One day... One day...
