I'm back and ready to update OFTEN! I've been putting off updating this blog for a while. It's hard to get into something when you've never done it before! BUT, I am here to stay! And now, for some cakes.This cake is called 'Mets Meets Registered Nurse'. I made this cake for a customer who was leaving New York to become a RN in New Hampshire. The Mets were and still are his favorite sports team, so I had to find a way to incorporate them. And this is what came out of my brain.
It was a half sheet cake covered in blue fondant. The Mets and RN symbol were made of hand cut gumpaste. The road was made with black and white fondant as well as the border along the bottom of the cake.
