Mike Castellana's Dragster Cake

This dragster was made to look like Mike Castellana's car that he's currently racing.

The 'cake' isn't actually cake, it's rice cereal treats which were carved to mimic the shape of his car.  The details were then added, consisting of edible paper and gumpaste.  Everything is edible, even the supports in the back!

Lightning McQueen Cake!

After making this cake, I've officially stepped down from sculpting!  Haha, just kidding. It was a pain in the butt though!

I've never really made a sculpted cake before this Lightning McQueen one.  It took my a little while to get his shape to the point where I felt he was recognizable.  After all was said and done, I thought the shape came out great, but his color is a little off.  I think it's a little too dark.  All and all, it's not a complete disaster!
